The heat transfer performance of the direct air-cooled system is of the most important basic parameter for the optimal operation and design of the steam power unit. We could perform the experimental studies of heat transfer performance of a test setup was established for a single air-cooled condenser unit and a cooling system of the operating 600 MW ACC power unit. The dimensionless correlation between Nu with Re number of the fin-tube bundle of condenser was developed based on the Experimental data. The surface temperature distributions of fin tube bundle of different aired-cooled condensers were revealed by IR thermography,as well as the local wall temperatures were measured by the thermocouples as comparison The present works may provide significant base for the optimization of the operating parameters of the ACC steam power unit under off-design conditions and improving the design of the air-cooling system.
