With the increasingly strict regulations of emission control and lack of the world's energy, economy, efficiency and environmental protection have led to the development of the techniques of Internal combustion engine. Now, CNG widespread used, replacing fuel, is considered a promising method to reduce harmful emission. In Three Gorges-Region area, the ships use CNG to improve local environment and save money for ship owner.CNG used in the engine can reduce emission and improve fuel economy. When the marine engine works, it releases harmful emission, and heightens the air pollution of Three Gorges-Region area. The electronic control dual fuel supply system controls the use of diesel oil or diesel/CNG dual fuel in the engine. When the engine works at diesel mode, it is the same as that before its refit. When the engine works at dual-fuel mode, the natural gas, mixed in air at intake pipe and the pre - mixed natural gas, is ignited by pilot diesel oil. When the revolution is unsteady, the electronic control system changes the supply of oil to steady speed. The mode of refit is easy and practical. In Three Gorges-Region area, where there is enough natural gas supply, the engine works at dual fuel mode to reduce harmful emission. If there is not enough natural gas supply, it can work at diesel mode as before. But now there are not dual fuel ships in Three Gorges-Region area. This paper based on the cultural heritage of the design and experience of development from domestic level to international level at electronic control system, combines the actual situation of Three Gorges-Region, analysis of the model, simulating design and experiment research, designs an electronic control dual fuel supply system instead of the mechanical fuel supply system for diesel motor 2135. The author tests the motor working in different proportion with natural gas on Diesel Engine Test Stands to find out the best proportion of mixed natural gas in the air so as to reduce the fuel and decrease the emission. At last, this paper designs MCU peripheral circuits for the electronic control system.
