With the maturity of design theory, computer technology, study on the structural wind tunnel test,FEM analysis, and construction technology, modern cable-stayed bridge has become the main type of long-span bridges. With the unique characteristics in force and aesthetic,Cable-stayed bridge has a very broad prospects for the future development of the bridge type, which make it the first choice of long-span bridges and landscape bridge. The multiple cable planes cable-stayed bridge is an indeterminate structure with high degrees, and the structure analysis of the cable-stayed bridge is complicated. In order to keep the bridge safe and the deformation of the bridge reasonable, the accurate model should be constructed and the effective structural analysis method should be taken to analyze and study the structural behavior in the construction stage and service stage of cable-stayed bridges.Based on design scheme of the second bridge in QINGLONGSHAN park in YINGKOU,LIAONING province,a long span cable-stayed bridge, the author simulates all kinds of structural members, such as girders, towers, cables, piers, pewtressed reinforcements and foundations, and builds up the integrated finite element model of the entire bridge by MIDAS/CIVIL.At first, the author used minimum bending energy method which took the minimum stress of girder and tower in the finished dead state as the objective function to decide reasonable finished bridges state, then carried out stress analysis on the bridge during the operational state. At last, the dynamic characteristics of the bridge can be analyzed by using the method of response spectrum analysis. Therefore, the characteristics of Non-symmetrical space Tower cable-stayed bridge with Multi-cable-plane was comprehensively understood, which give reference to the design and analysis of special structure of cable-stayed bridge.
