Economic globalization does the allocation division,of energy resources around the world in a more reasonable way.However,energy shortage and environmental pollution appears frequently.It's necessary to find new type of green clean and environmentlly-friendly energy to further the development pace of human,meanwhile,to ease or even replace traditional fossil fuels and reduce environmental pressure.Governments have already committed to research and develop of new energy with the efforts which is unprecedented.The Chinese government is also in accordance with its own actual situation, making economy,energy and the environment of co-ordinated development strategy,giving strong support for new energy development and utilization.Thermal energy is an environmentally-friendly energy technology.This all-solid-state energy conversion method has many advantages such as no noise,no wear,non-pollutant emission,small size,light weight,easy to carry,long life,without the artificial maintenance etc.Therefore,this technology has been widely used in military,aerospace and other fields abroad.The study and applications on thermoelectric cooling is more mature than thermoelectric power generating.This article designs a low temperature difference power generation experiment based on the Seebeck effect in the laboratory.Compare of the output power with different temperature difference,different cooling method,and explain the relationship between the output voltage of a single power module or two power modules connected in series and the temperature difference,simplify the calculation of the power output,pointed out that a single generation of modular components can be designed according to actual needs of different multi-module structure of series-parallel connection.Choose supercapacitor of fast charge-discharge capacity for energy storage because of the instability of thermal energy output voltage,and also stable the output of the supercapacitor voltage.Using LM2577 chip designs wide input range and output adjustable switching regulator circuit.Power module and power management module constitute the thermoelectric generator device.Modeling as a guide,and with some accurate calculation,it can be used in the need of heat recovery and give provision of electrical power for some small device.
