Recently, high-quality products and high level of service strategies become an important factor of competition in the automotive industry. With the development of computer technology and information technology, particularly the opening of the information superhighway, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) has become an important research and development direction of automotive industry. Remote monitoring and prediction system of vehicle running condition is an important part of ITS, the research of which has a practical and far-reaching significance. The system improved the traditional automotive fault diagnosis technique to a new level. Based on the analysis of the vehicle's normal working status, through the status of remote monitoring of motor vehicles, finish the Fault prediction of vehicle, till higher quality of products service.This thesis is proposed on this premise. This study is the pre-theoretical foundation of remote monitoring and prediction system of vehicle running condition. It will provide reasonable collection parameter selection of on-board system, provide the appropriate knowledge and reasoning principle of expert system setting up. So do the monitoring and prediction of system with a reasonable job and enforceability.In this thesis, the main jobs are: As Automobile hydraulic brake system an example, analyse the process of dynamic job of automotive hydraulic brake system, build the moving model of the vehiele, the tire model, the hydraulic brake system model,and the brake system under ABS control model at first. Then, perfect the models, analyse the possible impact factors of models. Finally, analyse the failure mode and common cause of the malfunction of automotive hydraulic brake system. On this basis, determine the monitoring parameters and monitoring methods. Make a good foundation of vehicle's automotive status monitoring and fault prediction.
