Design And Application Of Steam Turbine Control System Based On Honeywell EPKS System

From the 1990s until now,Distributed Control System(DCS) has been used generally in our country thermal power station,The DCS applied technology has been mature.Uses DCS to implement the thermal system function also to be able to satisfy the unit main and auxiliary device control request basically,The DCS basic control area can cover the main automatic control system:DAS,MCS,SCS and so on,but only few DCS control area includes DEH/MEH,ETS and so on.The DCS overall application level also can be improved,has not fully displayed its great potential.This article takes china aluminum some power plant steam turbine's DCS control system as the background,elaborates Honeywell EPKS process knowledge system's characteristic and the main composition by the numbers,analyzes steam turbine governing system's static and dynamic characteristic detailedly.According to this power plant's unit situation,this power plant DCS control system has been designed and realized.DEH is core regulating control system of the steam turbine,in the tradition it is provided by the steam turbine factory as a set of independent control system.ETS is steam turbine's important protective system,its electronic part were controlled by the traditional programmable logical controller.Combined the DCS integration,the steam turbine adjustment and the protective performance request,this article has analyzed DEH,ETS system's major function detailedly,using Honeywell EPKS to carry on the configuration,has completed DEH,ETS and the steam turbine DCS control system's integration.Finally through scene debugging and approval,each control policy's accuracy and reliability of the steam turbine in this power plant has been confirmed.DEH,ETS function has been successfully realized by DCS control system,Not only has realized turboset's examination,control,warning function,but also made.the unit protection response time reduce greatly,the performance promoted roundly.
