Deep foundation engineering refers to those directly associated engineering activities, mainly including earthwork and backfill, supporting, precipitating and anti-seepage, and environmental protection. In the modern urban construction, with the increasing of the population, the land resources become increasingly tension. The requirements of developing the urban three-dimensional space become increasingly strong, and deep foundation engineering has already become the main contents of urban geotechnical engineering.Combined with the deep foundation subject of Hankou Central Park, the surrounding soil deformation caused by foundation excavation was researched in this paper by using the methods of numerical simulation by means of software FLAC. The deformation mechanism and regularity of foundation excavation was discussed. Various factors causing ground settlement and the measures to reduce them were studied. For different dip angles , distance, and schemes of bolt support with different supporting force, analysis model is established. Cloud pictures descrbing displacement of excavation and its surrounding soil, and influence curves for displacement influenced by bolt parameters were obtained under various schemes. Then the effect that bolt support for inhibiting surrounding ground settlement of excavation was analyzed, and suggestion was proposed for optimizing design parameters of bolt. In respect of foundation excavation, this paper proposed several schemes in the way of stepped excavation in depth, dynamically simulated the stability of foundation pit and displacement of surrounding soil, analyzed and compared with the results of one-off excavation, and it showed that stepped excavation could effectively reduce the displacement of pill claynailing wall, and suggested engineering construction be carried in the way of stepped excavation and classified support. By simulating and comparing the displacement of foundation and its surrounding ground in two cases with or without ground surface surcharge load, this paper obtained ground settlement curve, the position where the maximum settlement appears, and influence scope of displacement by foundation excavation.It showed that ground surface surcharge load greatly increased the diaplacement of foundation excavation, especially the surrounding ground surface settlement. So unnecessary ground surface surcharge load should be reduced in construction process.The research finding of this paper can provide theory reference for design and construction of deep excavation engineering of Hankou Central Park, and also give some reference to similar engineering.
