The automatic instrument of ship maneuvering named automatic rudder,it is an indispensable equipment in shipping maneuvering,that is used to maintain a given direction or track.The current,the automatic rudder did not have the special fault diagnosis system,it was urgent for repair shop to employ a set of intelligent fault diagnosis system of carrying on reasonable examination to it.Based on the research of theory and combined with scientific research project,design and realization of ship automatic rudder for microcomputer control fault diagnosis system,and researched on the automatic rudder fault diagnosis fuzzy expert system and a new method of fault diagnosis with the support vector machines.With the deep research on the principle of automatic rudder and understand software and hardware's system structure,the mathematical model and physical model of automatic rudder has established.The characteristic of fault detection's automatic rudder has been established on the paper,it was important for simulation of fault diagnosis system and the identification of parameter,and it has provided the reference for the following fault detection and diagnosis.According to actual situation of the automatic rudder for microcomputer channels,established fault detection and diagnosis system of automatic rudder for microcomputer channels used the structure of lamination and hierarchical.The system first floor was based on the embedded microprocessor's signal detection unit,it was responsible to gain the microcomputer channel's Control System Buses as well as the signal of pretreatment;The system intermediate level is the subsystem of communication,it was responsible to carrying some detecting element information froln the first floor to centralism transmission;The system top layer for the fault diagnosis and the display subsystem,it was responsible to the mierocomputer channel's information carries on the quality synthetic evaluation,draw the conclusion of fault detection and diagnoses finally.The structure of automatic rudder system is complex,and many faults are difficult to express by the precise formula,so an expert system for automatic rudder fault diagnosis based on fuzzy reasoning was proposed.This method can improve the automatic rudder fault diagnosis efficiency and the reliability.The fault diagnosis system combined fuzzy mathematics,fuzzy diagnosis principle, expert experiences and used the fuzzy production knowledge representation method,defining fuzzy relational matrix and semantic distance,designed hardware platform and realized each functional module of the automatic rudder fault diagnosis fuzzy expert system.In order to solve the problem which fault diagnosis is difficult identified in analog circuit,a new method of fault diagnosis with the support vector machines was proposed.By use of circuit simulation analysis,this method gave the voltage frequency response under various mode of fault and extracted the representative fault characteristic.On the basis of support vector machines model of the fault diagnosis for analog circuits has set up,this method could achieve diagnosis of the element faults in analog circuits effectively,and has strong robustness against uncertainties on the fault diagnosis mathematical model caused by element tolerance,the method is also suitable for fault diagnosis of nonlinear circuits.The validity of this new method is verified by experimental results.
