Carbon Dioxide Removal Assembly(CDRA) is a important subsystem of the environment control and life-supporting system in the space station. It can separate carbon dioxide from the air in the capsule cabin effectively by changing the subsystem pressure and temperature.Whether the air can be separated successfully or not largely depends on the performance of the adsorbent. Therefore,it is the primary factor for affirming the adsorbing procedure to select and know exactly the quality of the adsorbents. The phenomenon of competitive adsorption would appear in the process of 5A zeolite molecular sieve adsorption. That is the nitrogen and the oxygen in the air would affect the adsorbent amount and time of carbon dioxide,so static method cannot be used to analyze the adsorption features of 5A zeolite molecular Sieve. The dynamic method is taken to make an adsorbing analysis of 5A zeolite mole, cular sieve to the dry air(nitrogen:78.06%,oxygen:20.90%,carbon dioxide: 1.04%;(V/V)).It measures the following points:the new molecular sieve's adsorption of carbon dioxide in the temperature of 0℃,22℃;the vacuum desorption time of molecular sieve;the re-adsorption characteristics of molecular sieve after desorption in the temperature of 100℃,125℃,150℃,175℃,and 200℃.The paper draws the penetration curves after desorption, measures the adsorption amount, and makes sure to the proper desorption temperature of CDRA.Through the analysis of penetrating time and adsorption amount, the calculation of CDRA for three persons is completed, and a prothtype machien is designed.
