The gry gas seal,namely does the non-contacting mechanical seal revolving by gas lubricating.Realized the industrial application for the first time from the 1970s,the gry gas seal applicated in refinery industry,fertilizer industry,ethylene and coal chemical industry and so on in domestic and foreign by its low leakage,low energy consumption,long life.But dry gas seal products in our country have relied mainly on import for long,and the dry gas seal technology research as well as the product development is still at the start stage,and a set of completely dry gas seal product design,the development and the manufacture system have not yet been established.Therefore,carrying out gas seal lubrication technology study has an important practical significance for improving our overall level of sealing technology, which has an important academic value and the prospects for engineering application for dry gas seal design,manufacture and operating stable and long period.Researching flow features for dry gas seal groove lubricating gasous film by dry gas seal objects,whose gasous film dynamic properties are studied by theoretical and experimental verification,and the influence as well as influence degree of groove's operating and geometric parametres on the seal performance are analysed,in order to find out optimized geometric parameters and obtain its optimum values.The numerical simulation of three-dimension micro-scale flow field in spiral groove gas seals are made by using three-dimension flow solver CFD.The three-dimension diorama of spiral groove is built by solidworks,the grid is curved up by gambit that is pre-treatment software of fluent.The pressure distribution,velocity distribution and leakage are obtained in specially operation status.It shows that the numerical results of the flow field agree with the experiment date through validation. Thus,the result has the instructive meanings and practical values.Also,the pressure distribution and leakage in different operation parameters are obtained.Finally the influencing factors of operation parameters in the spiral groove are analyzed.therefor, the references to optimum design of the spiral-groove gas seal were provided.The numerical simulation of lubricating gasous film for T-shape groove dry gas seal in specially operation status is made by fluent.The pressure distribution is obtained.The dynamic pressure effects between spiral groove and T-shape groove are compared,it shows that the pressure effect of spiral groove better than the pressure effect of T-shape groove. The experimental investigation of a YTG-CTâ…¡type of groove dry gas seal is conducted on the 18000r/min high-speed centrifugal compressor test device in ChengDu YiTong Seal Co.,Ltd.The overall plan of instrumentation system and hardware configuration are finished.The leakages are obtained.The result errors between test and numerical simulate are analyzed.Comparing datas from experiments with that of numerical simulate,the results show that the numerical results of the flow field agree with the experimental dates through validation.Thus the dynamical and methematical model of the gas folw field between seal faces is validated correctly.
