With the rapid development of China's large and medium scale livestock and poultry farm industry, farm wastes have polluted the environment seriously, mainly in water pollution, air pollution, diseases spreading and soil pollution. Therefore,to achieve the comprehensive management and utilization of livestock and poultry manure and to develop in sustainable eco-agriculture strategy is the current hot issue and future trend. Through continuous exploration what is found out that anaerobic digestion and biogas utilization technology can effectively solve this environmental problem, and could additionally get series of economic and social benefits. These comprehensive benefits (economic, social and environmental benefits)can be analyzed comprehensively and accurately by life-cycle assessment approach to analysis in order to help decision-making and system optimization. This paper analysis Hudunshan large-scale biogas utilization project as a case study, which analysis each engineering process and various impacts by comparison and life-cycle analysis procedure. Finally, the conclusions are:the comprehensive biogas utilization project reduced 28,000 tons of waste water emission annually, which significantly reduced local water pollution, improved soil condition and ecological environment, and finally guarantee residents' physical and mental health. Meanwhile, the biogas plant produces annually more then 1200 tons high quality organic fertilizer and 51,100 cubic meters biogas which could generate electricity of 102,200 power, total economic benefit is 366,600 yuan/year.
