With the rapid development of traffic engineering,the long term settlement of subsoil induced by repeated loading has received much attention recently. Controlling and reducing settlement have been a common interest to the engineers. At present,The study of the cumulative plastic deformation under the cyclic loading are for clay and sand,silt are Neglected by the engineers. The engineering characteristics of henan regional silt are investigated through laboratory tests in this paper.The 3D dynamic responses of silt subgrade under traffic loading are calculated by using ANSYS trantsient module.the modle which suitable prediction silt under cyclic loading in the long-term accumulation of plastic deformation are found and determine its parameters.The research results for this paper as follows:The fundamental characteristics of regional silt are investigated by using Probabilistic and Statisyic Analyses.The specific gravity have highest reliability, saturation and liquidity index have worset reliability. dry weight and void ratio, weight and void ratio, water content and plastic-limit, liquid limit and plastic-limit have strong correlation.The cohesive strength and friction angle have small variability. cohesive strength and water content, friction angle and water content fit the power functiong。the modle which suitable prediction silt under cyclic loading in the long-term accumulation of plastic deformation are found and determine its parameters.The formula of cumulative deformation of silt in cyclic undrained and the formula of cumulative pore pressure of silt are found.the dynamic responses of silt are calculated by using ANSYS trantsient module subgrade under traffic loading. the foundation of the vertical earth pressure is more reasonable to simplify the waveform for the trapezoidal load. shear stress at the top of pavement base are biggest.When the Dynamic load reach the top of subbase the stress are from compressive stress to tensile stress. Dynamic load than static load size has to increase.The model which Calculate the accumulated plastic deformation of the silt under cyclic loading is used to analyse long-term impact of settlement of silt foundation at different water content, different dynamic load, different heights. Found that the water content is the greatest impact factor.
