Taking certain power plant's exhaust system of direct air-cooled unit as the object of study and combining the method of CFD numerical simulation and experiment, internal steam's flow and the heat exchange of main exhaust pipe, steam distributing pipe of direct air-cooled condenser and exhaust facility were studied and analyzed. In view of the large pressure loss existed in exhaust piping system and the non-uniform phenomenon of steam flow distribution, the measure of installing the guide plate at the exhaust pipeline's partial position is proposed, which is confirmed validity through the computation. To reduce the throat's steam resistance pressure of the exhaust facility and guarantee the flow field's uniformity of the throat's outlet, the exhaust facility inserted low pressure heater is numerical study and optimization, which indicates the steam flow mechanism in the exhaust facility.
