Computer simulation on refrigeration system has significant meaning on developing high effective and reliable refrigerating devices. The Peng-Robinson (PR) state equations and extended corresponding state method are applied to construct the theoretical physical property model and visualization calculation program on the thermodynamic properties and cyclic performances of R22 and R134a are established. For core components of single stage refrigerating system, such as compressor, evaporator and condenser, the mathematic models are established and the Matlab software is applied to simulate system. Under the standard condition, experimental researches on the refrigerating system adopting the two refrigerants with variable working conditions are done on the exsiting experiment units. Factors affecting the coefficient of performance of the system are comparing between the experiment and simulation. Which indicates that the results of simulation are in concordance with that of the experiment.
