The Digital Radiographic Fluoroscopy is a kind of normal X-ray inspection equipment. With the help of it, disease can be diagnosed according to the radiography of the throat, esophagus, duodenal, jejunum and ileum, and colon. Radiography is one of the fundamental methods to diagnose a variety of disease such as ulcer, Tumor, and foreign body. Apart from this, it can also be used for gastrointestinal perspective, part of vascular and non-vascular interventional treatment operation.With the support of The Digital Radiographic Fluoroscopy's standard DICOM interface, it is convenient to get access to PACS system for remote transmission and information exchange in HIS. This paper mainly introduces the design of the DRFDS software. Memory management unit, I/O and the image acquisition unit, DRFDS functional units and video display units were designed based on the special requirement. As the requirements of real-time, this paper focus on the design and implement of visual display unit, which include the pre-processing algorithm for image contrast enhancement before display and make use of graphics hardware to process the code of image display with acceleration and optimization.All the software mentioned in the paper have been realized that based on Windows XP platform, Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft DirectX 9.0c SDK (November 2008) development environment. the computer configuration is Core Duo II CPU, 2G memory, NVIDIA 9800GT graphics.
