With the serious problem of harmonics pollution to the power system and the need of high performance of AC drive application, PWM rectifiers become more and more important. Three-phase PWM rectifiers have many virtues such as sinusoidal input currents,unity power factor ,steady output voltage, good dynamics and bin-directional energy Flow. Therefore, Three-phase PWM rectifiers are the most popular topic in modern power electronics.The principle of the voltage source PWM reversible rectifier are analyzed in detail in this paper, and the mathematical model in ABC,dq andαβcoordinate are established. At the same time, from the point of view of control, different reversible converter's control ways are summarized and their features are pointed out.Firstly, this paper analyzes the control methods of SVPWM and this thesis simulates and analyzes dynamic performance of control system by using MATLAB simulation software. Secondly, it deals with the hardware and the flowchart and realization method of its software from the aspects of main circuit, control circuit, and the method of realizing SVPWM to realize a dual-loop VSR control system. Finally, the DSP-based three-phase PWM VSR has been tested in the laboratory. The result of test shows that all functions of the PWM rectifier are efficient.
