Harmonic Detection Algorithm is studied in this paper,especially on adaptive harmonic detection algorithm,and a harmonic detection device based on embedded system is proposed to detect harmonics for active power filter(APF).First,the characteristics of several harmonic detection algorithms are studied,especially on minimum mean-square(LMS) adaptive harmonic detection algorithm.An improved adaptive harmonic detection algorithm is applied to harmonic detection of active power filter, and MATLAB software is used to simulating,analyzing the harmonic detection result.The harmonic detection device design based on embedded system is designed.The hardware system of the whole device uses dual-CPU structure of ARM7 + ARM9.ARM7 is used for data collection,and ARM9 is used for harmonic detection and man-machine interface operation.Embedded operating system Windows CE is selected as the operating system of the harmonic detection device.According to the requirements of the device, Windows CE operating system customizing,stream interface driver and application developing are completed.With the system designed above,the experimental harmonic detection device based on emdedded system is developed in this paper.And various kinds of characteristic are experimented,including sinusoidal synchronous with the power system voltage generating, voltage and current data sampling of power system,harmonic detecting,and so on.It is proved by the experiments that the harmonic detection device designed in this paper is correct, and can work well.
