The forward-looking system of high-speed railway is safe auxiliary equipment for railway safety work, use with the day and night. It is optical system includes a telescope lens and a source of initiation lighting. Because of the illuminance of external world change with train working, we can change the iris diaphragm size and adjust shutter exposure time access to the best of the CCD exposure, So as to achieve good results observed. In this paper, through research to determine the far of telescope objective , the initiative of the lighting source wavelength, power and projection lens, and then according to the parameters choose a reasonable initial structure , correction aberration with ZEMAX. In the course of Aberration correction , use non-spherical, not only simplified the system and improve the image quality. After the aberration correction worse, tolerance for analysis, many times through the contraction of tolerance and meet the design requirements. Finally, design the variable diaphragm. This system fully meet the requirements of actual use.
