The interferometric fiber-optic gyroscope (IFOG) attracts considerable researchers because of its distinguished performance. The apply high-precision IFOG to engineering practice, and obtaining low drift and high stability is the present important topic to solve. The development in order to optic-electric apparatus performance and advancement of digital processing technology provide material foundation and technological support for high-precision IFOG.The paper analyzes the optic characteristic of IFOG system, the optical characteristic of all optic parts of IFOG are described and the optical model of close-loop IFOG are build on interferential matrix and Jones matrix, and in the condition of the parameters of optic components being not ideal and fluctuation existing, the output of close-loop are simulated; analyzes the signal processing scheme of IFOG, the affect to the precision of IFOG by choosing A/D and D/A, and the model of signal processing is build ,gives the transfer function, verifies the correctness of the model of signal processing by the frequency response testing method.After building closed-loop model, we can analyze and evaluate the performances of in theory, improve it, and forecast for later design.
