Recent years,metal v-belt CVT(continuously variable transmission) has become a focus of research and development because it can makes the fuel economical efficiency and power performence increased and nocuous gas' exhaust decreased. Under the project financed by Jiangsu tackle key problem of science and technology,and under the background of development for the transmission control unit(TCU) of metal v-belt CVT,HILS(hardware in the loop simulation) system for TCU of metal v-belt CVT is developed independently.Based on dSPACE/AutoBox, the HILS platform for TCU of metal v-belt CVT is designed for the first time,then simulation experiments and test for TCU and control strategy are carried out on the platform,the experiment results showes that the platform can carry out experimental verification and optimization for TCU and control strategy very well,the verified and optimized TCU and control strategy can meet the demand of Palio made by Nanjing Automoblile Corporation.The main research contents and innovative points are as follows in this thesis.At first,according to the characteristics of the input and output signals of metal v-belt CVT,the hardware system of TCU with which microprocessor is TMS320F2812 is dedigned in this thesis.And then,the layed-module structure of software for TCU is proposed.Second,speed ratio and clamping force control strategy conformed to characteristics of electro-hydraulic system of metal v-belt CVT are designed innovatively.Object speed radio and fuzzy calculation method of objet clamping force are achived,and then the fuzzy and self-adaptive PID controll unit for speed radio and the fuzzy-PID control unit for clamping force are designed,which have good robustness and control effects.Third,based on the experiment data of Nanjing Automoblile Corporation,the simulation model of the engine and torque converter are established,and the simulation model of automobile is also established based on the automotive dynamics principle and running equations.Further,HILS model for TCU of metal v-belt CVT is achived after integrateing the above models,driver model and RTI interfaces.Finally,the HILS platform for TCU of metal v-belt CVT is designed for the first time based on dSPACE/AutoBox,then experimental verification and optimization for TCU and control strategy are carried out on the platform.The experiment results showes that speed radio and clamping forece control effects are excellent,and the platform can carry out experimental verification and optimization for TCU and control strategy very well.Then,the the verified and optimized controller is implemented on the PALIO and real road experiments are carried out. The results show that the developed controller can meet the demand of automotive driving.The performance of the automobile is very good.
