Corrosion damage to motor vehicles is not only the most common,but also the biggest enemy.Automobile corrosion great harm to society,not only causing huge economic losses,and the enormous waste of social resources,but also caused serious environmental pollution,are more likely to result in serious accidents.Europe and the United States began to pay attention to the issue of anti-corrosion of automobiles from 70s,many manufacturers' car body can be sustained for 10 years that is no apparent rust.However,whether in the structural design or anti-corrosion materials and processes,there is a large gap in China's automobile products compared with foreign products in the same period.As China's rapid development of economic,the volume of vehicle to maintain both with production and sales are rapid growth.Therefore,vehicle corrosion control activities has become an indispensable part of China's national economy,it will have a tremendous economic and social benefits.This paper is based on the theory of Corrosion of metal,then analyze the environmental factors that leading to corrosion of car body and discuss several common types of corrosion.Through the survey of corrosion on car body,the body parts which corrosion occur frequently and their causes of corrosion are analyzed.On this basis,following up advanced anti-corrosion technology of foreign country,discuss some major anti-corrosion methods and the principles in the design of modern car body.Then,using a domestic two-door hatchback car as an example,from the structure,materials and surface protection three aspects,discusses the practical application of the anti-corrosion design in sedan car body specifically.Finally,discuss the feasibility and the assessment of actual results of the anti-corrosion design of car body.
