It is of great significant to develop wind power,which is renewable and without pollution when energy resource scarcity and environment pollution is more serious. Researches on the technology of high-power wind power generation become hotspot. This paper mainly studies the grid-side converter applied to MW doubly-fed wind power generation system.It analyses the theory of grid-side converter,builds up its mathematic model in d-q coordinate,introduces the control strategy based on voltage and current doubly closed-loop and gives the calculation method of PI regulator parameters.The design methods of grid-side inductor and LCL-filter applied to grid-side converter are presented.This paper discussed the control strategy on the condition of asymmetry power system and provides the means of eliminating the negative-sequence current.This paper builds up the simulation model in Matlab/Simulink to complete the simulation analysis.The results illustrate that the methods presented in this paper are able to get good characteristics of grid-side converter for MW wind power system,as provide reliable reference to practical engineering.
