Ship-bridge collisions are often catastrophic events.In order to reduce the loss of lives and property,many experts bend themselves to the study of the mechanism in ship-bridge collision and the effective equipment for anti-collision,and recently, some of their academic achievements are put into use.After the collisions between ship and facility of anti-collision the bridge,the structures in collision region often surpass elastic state quickly and turn into plastic state companying with large deformation,flexure and fracture,so it is practical significance to study equipment for anti-collision.Because equipment for anti-collision is a no dynamic ship's hull as a whole,we study the load carrying capacity similarly on equipment for anti-collision with the theoretical knowledge of ship's hull as a whole.There are three main methods by far, idealized structural unit method,simple method and nonlinear finite element method.With great developments in modern mechanics,computational mathematics and computer technology in hardware and software,finite element analysis hasmade rapid progress in both theory and computational technology.More and more general-propose or specialized programs have been developed in use,and costs on performing FEA are reduced shapely.The most popular softwares around the world are so many such as ALGOR,MSC/NASTRAN,ADINA,ABAQUS,MSC/MARC,and ANSYS,etc..They both supply users with user-friendly interface,strong analysis capability and powerful pro-and post-processing functions.Currently,FEA and its programs have become the standard tool for engineering design.In this thesis,on the basis of the study achievements at home and abroad,on the basis of CHANGJIANG Bridge of YICHANG City,during the non-linearity both in geometry of deformations and in material properties,the finite element model of the structure was formed through reasonable simplification.And structural dynamic properties were calculated by using the famous program of ANSYS.We can obtain the load carrying capacity of equipment for anti-collision accurately and the deformation conditions of equipment for anti-collision to improved structure if we take sufficiently into account every load and boundary combination,structure imperfections and initial stresses,together with geometric and material non-linearity.
