According to the reaction formula as follow:C2H5OH+H2O=4H2+2CO,and aiming at studying hydrous-ethanol reforming fuel engines,this paper has taken theoretical and experiment study on premix laminar combustion characteristic of hydrous-ethanol reforming fuel.Using CHEMKIN software as computing platform,in which adiabatic flame temperature of H2-CO(mole ratio of H2 and CO is 2,complete reformed), C2H5OH(not-reformed) and C2H5OH-H2-CO(partly reformed) have been calculated via element-potential method,NOx and CO emissions are predicted;one-dimensional premix laminar flame structure of H2-CO,C2H5OH and C2H5OH-H2-CO have been simulated and initial parameters effect on flame speed of H2-CO mixture have been studied.Computing results indicate that CH emission is reduced and CO emission is increased after hydrous-ethanol has been reformed,but lean combustion can be used to solve this problem.Initial parameters study is achieved.The relationship between initial pressure and flame speed under diverse fuel-air equivalence ratios has been investigated,when temperature is 298k,lean fuel,flame speed is reduced by pressure increase;when rich fuel,as pressure increases flame speed increases first and then decreases;The relationship of power between initial temperature and flame speed is found and the power is about 1.5~2.0.The relationship between the amount of H2 in the H2-CO mixture and flame speed has been investigated when the pressure is 1atm and fuel-air equivalence ratio is 1.The relationship between fuel-air equivalence ratio and flame speed under diverse initial pressure and temperature has been investigated.Flame speed and Markstein Length of various fuels have been measured and calculated via using constant volume combustion bomb.Lean fuel combustion characteristic of H2,H2-CO mixture are studied;The amount of water in hydrous-ethanol effect on flame speed of hydrous-ethanol and combustion of hydrogen-doped in hydrous-ethanol is studied.As excess-air coefficient increases,flame speed and Markstein Length of H2 and H2-CO increase,hydrous-ethanol flame speed decreases but Markstein Length increases.Hydrogen-doping can strengthen lean fuel combustion characteristic of hydrous-ethanol and increases it's flame speed.
