Controlled switching,also called synchronous switching or phasing-control switching,is a terminology applied to the principle of coordinating the instant of opening or closing of a circuit with specific target point on an associated voltage or current waveform.Controlled switching has become an economical solution and commonly used to reduce switching surges. This paper analyzes ways of enhance the breaker's reliability;introduce research significance and the merit of synchronous switching;basic principle of synchronous switching and its operating process.The obtained results in this thesis supply references to future research on the controller of synchronous switch.Permanent magnetic actuator is becoming a new operating mechanism in recent year,it uses the magnetic force which the permanent magnet produces to maintains the right position of PMA without any traditional machinery tripping locker.Its organization spare part are few and the structure is simple which enhance the reliability of breaker.Its secondary controlling circuit use the electronic control module,so it can the quick-moving and may realize the precise timing control;power supply input range of switching is wide,its input and output circuits apply the optical coupler isolation and low power dissipation which cause permanent magnetism organization vacuum circuit-breaker to become exempts the maintenance intellectualization circuit breaker.The single-coil permanent magnetic actuator(PMA) has small mechanical scatter due to its fewer moving parts.PMA has been used more and more widely.Controlled vacuum switch is supplied with independent-pole operated PMA,and capacitor discharge supply can be chosen in the PMA exciting circuit.Thus the operation is controlled by high-current power electronic devices.Test results demonstrate that PMA can satisfy with the request of the controlled switching,and it is the ideal choice of synchronous switching.The experiment results indicate that this system already achieves the anticipated effect, and provides some useful experience and the reference for the future research.The system is useful to optimize the synchronous control system.
