Semi-flexible pavement is a kind of advanced pavement, which is filled with Portland cement mortar in open-graded matrix asphalt mixture (the void ratio reaches up to 20%~28%). It has both virtues of ordinary asphalt and cement pavement, and avoids the faults of them. The research and application about semi-flexible pavement is still in the start stage in our country while it has been widely taken into application overseas. Therefore, the study of this pavement has important practical significance.First of all, the thesis confirms the mix proportions of matrix asphalt mixture and cement mortar basing on overseas research findings; then, in comparison with ordinary AC-16 asphalt mixture, the semi-flexible pavement shows its excellent road performance by testing; study the fatigue property of semi-flexible material by fatigue test with four points bending and compare the results with those of existent asphalt mixture, which shows that the semi-flexible material has better fatigue property than that of ordinary asphalt mixture and obtains the fatigue equation with 90% confidence level and 95% livability.Analyze the influence factors of fatigue property of semi-flexible material by different frequencies (10HZ and 15HZ),different temperatures (5℃,15℃,and 40℃) and different cement mortars (popular type and polymer type) fatigue test, then evaluate its fatigue property.Obtain the design parameters of semi-flexible material by laboratory test, such as,compression modulus and structural coefficient of tensile strength. Then recommend several kinds of typical structures for pavement.
