In recent years, there are many bridge accident around the world which caused not only serious casualties and economic losses but also a lot of negative effects to the whole bridges industry.At the same time, along with the large development of our country's construction of infrastructure, new highway and bridge have been more and more and many bridges will enter the maintenance phase.So experts consider that the bridge will reach the aging stage if it has been utilized more than 25 years. According to the relevant statistics, 40 percent of the total number of bridges already belong to this context, are "aging " bridge.Moreover, as time goes by, the number is increasing. Therefore, the task of bridge detection is increasing. Some factors such as the separation of indoor and outdoor work in the traditional detection, a lot of time required for recording the related data and few testing data in real-time accurate field control and check make the detection inefficient and sometimes the detection need to be carried out repeatedly,not meet current engineering information ,digital and operate procedures' development trend and requirements.As a kind of new products, after 10 years of development, PDA has been increasingly mature. PDA-based detection system software for bridge has certain market prospect and will greatly enhance the speed and accuracy of detection because PDA has so many advantages compared with the notebook, for instance: small volume, light weight, high reliability, less consumption, powerful, simple operation, superior visualization, to correspond with the habit of people to use windows operating system, cheap price, Suitable to carry, the adequate supply of power and the real-time show of drawing graphics.In this paper, based on field investigation and the summary of many project about bridge detection and various kinds of investigation for control surveying, detection of the line shape of bridge deck, arch axis and cable shape, PDA-based total station bridge detection system software ,which has feasible input and output, management analysis function, was exploited.The system can be mainly divided into four modules: module of control surveying, module of detection of the line shape of bridge deck, module of detection of tower pier and module of detection of main cable arch axis. By using this system, we can accomplish bridge detection job of the above-mentioned module, at the same time, the efficiency of inputing mass trivial data was greatly enhanced. Moreover,it can furnish effective management of classification for testing date,make a comparison among test results for checking in the way of visual graphics,provide the automatic system alarm for the existing problems or the date which has unreasonable difference with specification regulated data in order to handle the problem timely and avoid the subsequent repeated detection. Further, this system can realize the serial port and bluetooth transfer between PDA and surveying instrument , update the testing data and achieve compact combination and favourable interaction of testing work and indoor work. On the whole ,the system can not only meet the needs of units related and greatly enhance the efficiency of detection but also lay the foundation for the automation, intelligence, integration, real-time and visualization of bridge detection and management. |
