Currently, More research on the optimal design of concrete filled steel tube (CFST) arch bridge have done in China, However, the research on the optimal design of steel truss arch bridge is rarely. Based on"Key technologies research on design and construction of long-span steel truss arch bridge", which is the key research projects item of Transportation Committee of Chongqing, Launched optimal design theory research on main arch cross-section of Daninghe Bridge, aimed to provide reference for the future design of similar steel truss arch bridge. The following researches have been completed in the dissertation:1)On account of the construction features whether there is stiffening rib on chord of steel truss arch bridge, a non-linear equation about the rectangular and thin shell element is established and conducted a bearing capacity analysis of strut that welded heavy plate by using ANSYS software. The influence, which box section strut that without stiffening rib to member's buckling safety factor is studied on condition that there are different initial eccentricities on section; and take relationship into account between stiffening rib's stiffness and overall stabilize of strut by changing the thickness of stiffening rib and thickness ratio of needed stiffening rib, to box section strut with stiffening rib.2)Based on the optimal design of truss structures, Analysis and comparison the theory and optimization model which consider full stress,local Stability and displacement constraints on the structure of optimal design.3)Based on the analysis of ultimate bearing capacity of bar box, use the full stress guidelines, apply the function of ANSYS optimize analysis, a generalized optimize program which could be considered cross-section of Daninghe Bridge is developed.4)Compared to cross-section of Daninghe Bridge, In addition to the difference between individual bars, the remaining cross-section bar have few difference, The optimize results show that the design is reasonable.
