At present, there is no uniform name of spray, this article gives a definition of the key words, including: spray, spray scenery and the landscape spray system. As a foundation of designing landscape, the study of spray system is very necessary. This paper studys the composition and principle of spray system, in order to provides the basis for the construction of landscape. According to the specific circumstances ,the designers can choice different spray components, thus we can obtain optimal effect. The classification of the ownership of the spray scenery were studied from the two aspects in the third chapter. From the landscape point of view, man-made waterscape can be divided into four types, spewing, waterfall, stream and static water. spray is a form of a fountain. Spray has plasticity, it can be designed to coordinate the environment, constitutes the main feature, secondary feature, close feature and far feature. Also spray has the accessibility characteristic, its unique nature characteristic satisfied people's favor of water. At the same time, spray view also has the beauty of poetic imagery, it usually brings people mysterious, dreamy feeling in the landscape, scenery is limited and but poetic imagery is infinite. As an element of landscape, the application designning of spray should follow"from the macro to the micro-principle"in the the process, it need an overall consideration about functional orientation and design process. The purpose of landscape planning and designning is to change our living environment more comfortable, beautiful and natural, so it is a basic principle to design the landscape on the basic of waterscape in the nature and meetting people's needs. The diversity of modem needs, psychological uncertainties and behavior also determine the complexity of landscape diversity and optional to satisfy people's demand for multi-directional, so the design of spray should also follow the principle of diversity. As the spray's accessibility features, it is necessary to give full consideration of security in the design. In addition, outstanding landscape is the combination of a variety of landscape elements composition, and spray also needs to combine with other landscape elements. So the designning should follow the principle of coherence. Also the spray designning should take full account of the cultural and geographical characteristics, which can create a unique landscape effects.
