Engineering Applications And Research Of PHC Pipe Pile To Deep Foundation Pit Support

Having many advantages,such as high bearing capacity of single pile,low cost,rapid construction speed,little disturbance to soil among piles,prestressed high-strength concrete pipe pile(PHC pipe pile for short) is rapidly used and popularized everywhere in the nation.PHC pipe pile is used as engineering pile and bears vertical force in most of projects.For all that,with the development of urban construction,more and more questions appear in foundation pit Support.So,new support patterns of safer,higher economic benefits,shorter construction period and more environmental are urgently needed to develop.In recent years,PHC pipe pile is applied in deep foundation pit Support to bear horizontal load.Thus,it has great significance to study the supporting effects and the construction technologies of this new support pattern.This paper makes an analytical research on the flexibility of applications of PHC pipe pile in foundation pit Support. Meanwhile,such as mechanical characteristics,Flexural Behavior,Economic Benefits, construction period,environmental protection are studied,analyzed and summarized.The soil squeezing effect of PHC pipe pile in pile-sinking is distinctness,which has a little difference with traditional retaining pile of foundation pit.There,the soil squeezing effect of PHC pipe pile on Foundation Pit Slope is discussed.Moreover,combined with practical engineering,the theories of soil pressure test and foundation pit design are used for the calculation of PHC pipe pile in foundation pit support.
