Hot stove is a blast furnace heating equipment,and is becoming an important and indispensable component of the modern blast furnace.With the development of modernization and large-scale about the blast furnace,the furnace shell design theory formula by Soviet Union can no longer meet modern design requirements.Furnace shell structure in the steel powers(the United States and Japan) has developed rapidly,and its advanced embodied in the following three points:First,advanced calculation methods; Second,through the experimental study on internal furnace,the furnace steel shell structure load-mechanism had in-depth understanding;Third,correct understanding of failure modes.Compared with other countries,so far there is no unified structure design concepts of blast furnace,and lack of a clear control standards of the furnace shell in China.In order to meet the design requirements of iron equipment at this stage,leading by CISDI,we are preparing the structural design specification for our country's iron equipment.We make use of the preparation of specifications opportunity to regulate and improve the level of understanding,the structure design of safe and reliable in modern large blast furnace shell steel structure provides theoretical basis,narrow the gap with the developed countries.The core content of this paper has four aspects as follow:First,introduce the steel for blast furnace shell.Combined with the hot blast stove of 4350m~3 blast furnace in TISCO,we can see that the steel for furnace shell is different from the steel for general structure,which has its own special requirements.Second,the blast furnace is designed by using the Technical Code for Smelt Furnace of Iron and Steel Industry and Steel Pressure Vessels-Design by Analysis.We can find the advantages and disadvantages of the two shell thickness design codes by combined with design results for shell thickness and the practical furnace shell thickness.Third,we used of finite element software ANSYS to establish the overall model for elastic analysis.Through analyzing all the loads,the stress intensity was obtained under different load cases and the most disadvantageous load effect combination,which could study on the furnace shell stress and strain values and research furnace shell hole stress concentration factor changes.The stress evaluation was down according to the code,and compared to pressure vessel code results;Fourth,stress analysis for opening reinforcement structure of a furnace shell was performed by elastic-plastic analysis,and got the real stress state in these regions, researched the plastic status and the broken point.Finally,provided a scientific basis for the hot blast furnace design and construction of the hot stove.From the analysis results,the furnace design control standard is safe and reliable by new code.Through the research of stress concentration factor and the elastic-plastic analysis,we can provide suited methods by theoretical guidance to reduce the stress concentration.
