Analysis On Seismic Response Of The Stucture With Base-Isolation System

Base isolation is an effective design technique against the earthquake damage of the structure.The lateral flexibility of the base-isolation system increase the fundamental period of the stucture and thus obstruct the transmission of the earthquake energy,reduce the seismic response.Experimental study and the earthquake phenomenon shows that the different of isolation parameters and the space have a significant impact on dynamic chatacteristics and dynamic response of seismic isolated structure.In addition,the use of base isolation technology,isolation layer will have a larger horizontal displacement.the upper struture will have a significant overturning moment by the lavel earthquake.and anti-overturning moment is provided by upper structure self.so may cause the lift-off of the isolation layer and the overturning of the structure.Therefore,the anti-overturning of the upper part of structure is also an important aspect of the base-isolation structure.In this paper,undertaken a number of exploratory studies in view of the above two aspect.The main rasearches are following:1.Make a six-storey frame structure as a example,using finite element analysis softwave SAP2000,input El-centro,Tangshan and anartificial wave,analysis the seismic response of the isolated structure and non-isolation structure,through the date comparison,to verify the effectiveness of the isolation and the feasibility of the isolated structure.2.Analysis the impact of the change of isolation system paramenters to the dynamic characteristics of the isolated structure.Those provide the reference information for the reasonable selection isolation system and structure optimum design.3.By numerical calulation,popose the limition of the high-aspect and the measures of anti-overturning.
