With the rapid development of modern technology,in response to the demand for using space,construction of long-span roofs is increasing.Long-span roofs have been widely applied for various large civil and industrial construction,such as gymnasium, exhibition halls,airport terminals,convention centers.Although the different forms of these long-span roof structure,they have some common features,such as generally light, larger flexibility,low damping and natural frequency.Wind load is one of the control loads in the structure design.But there is no exact method to calculate the wind-induced response of long-span double-pitch roofs in the current code for the design of building structures.Based on random vibration theory,a wind power spectral analysis method in the frequency domain is used to analyze wind-induced vibration response of long-span double-pitch roofs in ANSYS in this paper.The influence of parameters such as high order mode shapes,horizontal and vertical power spectrum density,basic wind pressure, span and weight of the roof,damping ratio,terrain categories and support restraints, which are usually critical to the wind-induced vibration responses,are discussed. Furthermore,the influence of parameters such as the horizontal power spectrum density, basic wind pressure,span and weight of the roof,damping ratio,terrain categories and support restraints,which are usually critical to the wind vibration factor,are also discussed.According to the results of the parametric analysis,a practical wind-induced vibration factor formula for long-span double-pitch roofs is summarized,which can be applied to practical engineering design and research.At the same time,according to a practical structure,the article establish the model of a single gabled frame,and get the wind-induced displacement vibration coefficient of steel beam based on frequency method.The article also use Matlab to simulate wind speed time-history from Davenport spectrum,use a long-span space lattice truss of some coal-fired power plant to make wind vibration analysis,which based on frequency and history method.The results verify the reliability of the methods.
