The design of optical instrument is a branch of disciplines,in ancient and modern society.The emergence of optical devices are on the basis of experimental laws established in geometrical optics,with the continuous development of the optical theory and the continuous improvement of sophisticated optical technology and the rapid development of information technology-related disciplines,optical instruments has exceeded the traditional classical model,is gradually towards the direction of integration of the light,mechanical,electrical and operated,intelligent model.An important trend in the development of modern optical instruments are:small size,integration,high-precision technology, automation,and information and intelligence.Thanks to the advantages of diffractive optical elements in small size,light weight,replicating easily,low cost,high diffraction efficiency,many design variables,wide rang of optional material,peculiar chromatic dispersion performance,and so on,the diffractive optical elements have huge advantages and applied value in imaging.In the last years,the design study to constitute a hybrid optical iamging system by Combine diffractive optical elements and refractive elements is favored by the designers.Based on the design theory of refractive-diffractive hybrid imaging system,a refractive-diffractive hybrid camera lens is designed optimumly in ZEMAX.The lens have 50mm effective focal length,47 degree field,1:4 in F/# and good imaging performance.Its' initial structure is six-elements- double-Gauss lens.The outcome of design show the diffractive optical elements can betterly minimize the camera volume,light the weight,improve the imaging quality.The thesis consists of five chapters.The phase function and ZEMAX is the main clue to illustrate hybrid design theory and lens design.First of all,the study-background,study-meaning,history and the developing direction in apply and so on,are introduced.In chapter two,according to the diffractive optical teory,we demonstrate the relation between the diffractive and refractive element,deduce the formula of the phase fuction and the formula of diffraction efficiency of the diffractive element,quantify the formula of phase function,discuss the achromatic principle of reiractive-diffractive hybrid system.And based on the traditional optical design and aberrations theory,we discuss the light tracing and primary aberrations theory of the hybrid system. Chapter three we discuss the consideration of the optical performance in the camera lens before it is designed,and the evaluation and tolorance anysis of a designed lens.In order to acquaint the design,we design a designed refractive-diffractive hybrid lens.Chapter four we compute the manufactureing datas of the binary optical diffractive surface,introduce simply the manufacture technique and steps.In the last chapter,a summary of works and an outlook of works are given.
