The Handheld Synchronous ECG Recording Device,put forward by this paper,is a hand-held,low power,low-cost ECG instrument,which is able to complete the acquisition,storage and printing of ECG data and transport it to the PC machine by USB interface or a regular telephone interface.This kind of ECG Recorder is the updating edition of the primitive edition,of which all aspects of performance have been improved.This paper introduces the hardware upgrading methods:the system consists of two relatively independent modules,named acquisition module and control module.Each module is controlled by the micro-controller,through UART to communicate between modules.The design scheme makes use of as few as possible system expansion chips, which is able to reduce system power consumption significantly.Then,this thesis introduces the details of the control module software's upgrading theory.This part introduces the firmware developing assignment which is on the basis of the thinking of the front and back-office system to complete the following functions: first is friendly human-computer interface,the second is serial communication,the communication for ECG acquisition and printing of ECG data,the third is USB communication,the system interface with the PC through the USB,the fourth is firmware upgrade,you can use the PC Application procedures ECG recorder firmware update.Finally,based on the functions and characteristics of the Handheld Synchronous ECG Recording Device,then design software in windows.Design and implement the dynamic link library function for USB communication,and then built ECG Recorder Application software.
