In 1948, physicist Gabor invented holographic technology in the study of improving the quality of electron microscope imaging with the previous research. Holographic interferometry technology, making it as interference in the progress of measurement technology is amazing; it can use interferometry technology in comparison of any two differently instant waveforms, consequently, achieving the quantitative measurement of various objects. At present, the holographic interferometry technique has been widely used in various fields, and this study in aero-optical effects is also becoming the scope of its application. In the field of aero-optical effects, whether active optical system like laser output, or passive optical system like tracking and aiming, aero-optical phenomenas are caused by the refractive index pulsation of aerodynamic flow field in input and output environment. Thus, the result is that the image received by photoelectric devices of optical system will appear deformation or optical signal will be decreased and make tracking deviate from the target, while active optical system's energy will be weaken, lose aggressivity, and its focus point deviates from attack target. Aero-optics technology is to test through the aerodynamic calculation and simulation methods, finding the most basic solution for the phenomenon. The most direct factor of refractive index change is that the result of the change of complex density field when missile body flying at high speed.Ground simulation and testing research on aero-optical effects are also aimed at the light through high temperature, turbulence, shock wave and other complex flow field to make qualitative show and quantitative measurements, which provide technical support for the related technology development of the high speed-flight missile body. With the needs of modernization of national defense and the rapid development of aerospace industry, such as the aero-optical research conducted by the infrared peicision guidance, has been paid more and more attention. This study is the first comprehensive and systemic to apply holographic interferometry technique to the study of Aero-optical experiments. Aero-optical effects Involved in the study are mainly the study of testing methods within the framework of ground-based simulation. In this study, holographic interferometry method involves and runs through many fields of Aero-optical research, and can service well for the research of Aero-optical effects, and it mainly study from the following aspects: Firstly, change holographic interferometry method,we can use cale wind tunnel tests to replace the laboratory, study the lateral shock wave of missile body and the impact of the density and temperature fields. Secondly, study the impact that lateral missile coolant of the missile window and turbulent layer affect the light phase and amplitude through the missile body window,in order to provide support to optical correction. Thirdly, provide experiment verification for Aero-optical simulation.Holographic interferometry technique is fully capable to play an important role in aero-optical research. This is mainly decided by the characteristics of holographic interferometry technique. First of all, the holographic interferometry technique has a lower requirement for optical devices, which is very important and necessary for the aero-optical research of phase difference which is small and field test of large-scale wind-tunnel interference. Besides, to the limited holographic interference fringe pattern which adds man-made phase changes, we can achieve a good quantitative data processing. Finally, the hologram itself is a very good freezing technique of three-dimensional space, which has great significance to three-dimensional characteristics of turbulent flow research. This part of the work will also have a major breakthrough and development in the future. By compareing the results from the experiment and other methods, we can see that holographic interferometry technique can be viable as an effective test method in the mechanism study of aero-optical, pneumatic calibration and the whole process of simulation and calculation.
