In aerospace environment, the UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)used to perform the reconnaissance, surveillance, tracking, search and many other tasks. The UAV Route Planning is to search the best fight Route to satisfy the UAV machine Performance and battlefield environment under special restrict condition. The UAV Route Planning is the key technology of UAV mission system and the technology guarantee that UAV can flight by itself. The main contributions are summarized as follows:(1)The landform impacts on route planning were discussed in the essay and the landform threats were quantized. Then the calculation method of threats exploring by radar was introduced, and effective battlefield model was established. The influence of UAV performance on route planning was illuminated, the guide line of performance restriction was debated. Based on fulfilling the performance restriction, the optimization method of local route was put forth. Two ideas of route planning were presented on the strength of different planning targets.(2)The applications of Genetic Algorithm, Voronoi Algorithm and Ant Colony Algorithm in route planning were studied, and Voronoi diagram was reconstructed by means of weighting threats cost. Characteristics of the three algorithms were discussed, and the idea that the route planning problem should be solved by different algorithms in different phases was proposed.(3)The optimization algorithm was researched based on Voronoi diagram. The simulation system of UAV route planning was developed and demonstrated.(4)Combined with characteristics of real time route planning, real time planning conceptions in different conditions were put forward, and the function of Voronoi diagram was discussed in real time planning phase.Aimed at the Aerial Vehicle in the subject of aerospace information tasks planning, this paper discussed the problem of UAV Route Planning,and laid foundations of further research on aerospace information tasks planning.
