Stability control has been widely used in large power system. Comparing with the large power system, power supply system of large companies has significantly different characteristics, and there has been relatively little research on its stability control. Power supply system of large companies, as a typical active power-receiving system, generally possesses private power plants, which connected with external power grid. When disconnected with external power grid due to certain fault, it will result in frequency collapse, and even leads to large-scale blackout owing to the active power imbalance. Through analysis of the stability of power supply system in a steel enterprise, under-frequency load-shedding plans and regional security and stability control plans are adopted in this paper. The former can be used in power-entry system with lower investment, but following some defects. the latter is applicable in all kinds of complex power supply systems, but with more investment. Appropriate stability control plans for large companies should be selected according to this paper as a reference.
