This thesis proviedes the basic knowledge of rubbing vibration for the steam Turbo-generator and The basic theory of wavelet transform. And in experiments I simulate the rub-impact of the rotor under normal operation, local rubbing and the entire rubbing with Jeffcott rotor model, and received their vibration characteristics. And the thesis sums up the fault characteristics of rubbing vibration on the scene, providing a spectic references for the failure of rubbing vibration on the scene.we gain useful conclusions in analyse the real data when the rub-impact fault movement happened, and the characteristics of the mutation by dealing with the wavelet decomposition, which are more obvious than the characteristics brought by the Fourier analysis. We show that wavelet analysis is advanced in getting the rubbing vibration fault feature of the steam Turbo-generator unit rotor.
