The final purpose of the biomass gasification progress is to obtain high-quality flammable gas as much as possible. At present, there are still many unresolved issues on biomass gasification process, such as gasification temperature, gasification of equivalence ratio, gasification efficiency, Lower Heating Value, and other parameters optimization problems. Therefore, this paper established the SVM model which adapts to the biomass (bamboo) gasification progress so as to predict gas component of biomass, Lower Heating Value (heat value), gas yield and other indicators of biomass gasification. On the basis of this model, MOPSO algorithm used to find the yield optimal control parameters(ER and T) while the heat value of gas and gas yield compromise and are relatively close to maximize to a certain extent. Verifying the calculation of gasification data of bamboo, we get a good result. This paper verifies that the optimal control parameter using the MOPSO Algorithm is better than the one using the weighting method, which shows that the MOPSO Algorithm is valid in optimization of biomass gasification and offers references for future studying in other biomass gasification using this method.
