With the development of water conservancy in our country, the dam, reservoir and ship-lock are continually constructed, a large number of hydraulic gate have been widely used. In the face of the increasingly complicated operating condition, the vibration problem of hydraulic gate and safety reliability has been highly valued by engineering circles.In this article, based on the operating condition and the hydraulic conditions, through the prototype observation and theoretical analysis, the vibration problem of San Ge Quan Inverted Siphon export section plane gate is analyzed.When current of water passes the plane gate, the flow shape is destroyed by the bottom edge of gate and leads to the vertical vibration. The downstream vortex is destroyed by the vertical vibration, the disturbance external force is enlarged. Under the flow fluctuating pressure and supplementing water pressure, the plane gate is hit repeatedly by the current of water. This was the major reason of the vibration. This article makes some anti-vibration measures and prevent vibration method which based on the major reason of the vibration. The research results can be a reference in theory and method for the similar engineering.
