Space camera is used in the extremely complex circumstance which is hardly to quantify or simulate. As fast development of space optical technology recent years, the influence of space circumstance to optical system is becoming one of the most important parts during optical design, temperature and stray light is the top two needed to be considered .In this paper firstly introduced the optical systems used to design space camera in common and their basic design theories. Secondly, introduced optical athermal design theory and discussed homogeneous temperature changes influence on the image quality.Then analysed the changes of optical system's element indexes,air space,MTF,focal length and back focal length when space camera in a homogeneous temperature distribution under thermal control. Lastly, introduced the sources of stray light and the methods to evaluate and analysis stray light.Then do stray light analysis about the space camera system used in the last chapter, including all of the outer stray light radiation sources such as sun lights,moon lights and the earth radiation, and introduced the ways to suppressing the stray light and baffle design.
