The double puzzle of energy and environment make a good significance of hydrogen research. Hydrogen, the most promising energy, is also researched as a kind of fuel for engine. The diesel engine is widely used than before and has gradually become the first choice for automobiles, because of its higher fuel economy and lower HC and CO emission. For the other hand, hydrogen is a kind of cleanness energy; its combustion production is water only. Therefore, the research of the diesel engine and hydrogen is significance. In this paper, a calculation model without the intake ports was generated. And Three-dimensional simulations of hydrogen spray, diesel spray and combustion process of the Hydrogenation Diesel Engine were performed in this paper with STAR-CD.Under certain conditions, the hydrogen's distribution in the cylinder was obtained under different angles of spray hydrogen, different times of hydrogen spray, different pressures of hydrogen spray, and different amount of hydrogen spray was obtained through CFD simulation research, and the relevant laws were summarized. The mixture formation of the Hydrogenation Diesel Engine was simulated, the velocity field, turbulent kinetic energy field and diesel particles of the Hydrogenation Diesel Engine were analyzed, and the effects of hydrogenation process were studied. The three-dimensional meshes for combustion were generated, in which proper grid resolution and time increments were chosen. The ignition model and the combustion model were selected through experiment data, and the related parameters were calibrated. Compared with simulation results of the pure diesel engines and Hydrogenation Diesel Engine, the combustion characteristics of the Hydrogenation Diesel Engine were studied. The work of this paper will provide a reference for further simulation studied and experiment.
