In recent years, mountainous highway longitudinal bridge constructions develop rapidly with lacking pertinence theory research of the longitudinal bridge foundation safety.Relying on the Xihan project and based on a great deal of the Xihan highway longitudinal bridge investigation data and according to the safety of longitudinal bridge foundation of new problems, do the research of Silt kinetic characteristic,the regularity of scouring and the bridge foundation protective measure at the bridge location.River flow and river bed erosion is the process of interaction.Through the overall analysis of the main factors and the laws of the characteristics of scouring of the river and the features of mountain rivers,illustrate the the main issues and influencing factors of the bridge foundation security.Through the comprehensive analysis of the major destruction types, causes and the typical preventive measures about the shallow foundations,serve as the basic theory of the bridge foundation security study. In the foundation of theoretical analysis computation and the spot investigation analysis, combining with the project, this article has carried on the indoor hydraulic model experiment,and does the study of the flow pattern and erosion features,gets the induction of the regularity of scouring at the longitudinal bridge location, and give the protective measures and advice that suit for the Xihan highway longitudinal bridge foundation security.
