| With the rapid development of the national economy, especially with the development of the strategy of China Western Development, more and more tunnels will be constructed in the cold region of the high altitude or the high latitude in our country. Because these regions suffer from particular climate, the tunnels are often subject to frost damages - especially when the groundwater becomes abundant-which directly threatens the structure of the tunnels and their operation safety, and thereby results in serious economic losses. Therefore, the research on the temperature field in cold region tunnels, the tunnel lining deformation behavior, and structural mechanics characteristics of segmental lining is a key issue that seriously needs solving.In this paper, taking the Alatan highway tunnel construction in the cold region of Inner Mongolia as an opportunity, to serve for the project, a large-scale field test was carried out. In the displacement test, a comparative research was made on the change rules and distribution properties of the surrounding rock contact pressure, reinforced grille Gantry bolt axial force, and axial force of rock bolt over the time change. The tunnel temperature field was also monitored. According to a coupling analysis of the temperature field-the structure field of the tunnel's two sections with ANSYS finite element analysis software, we calculated the frozen-heave force of the tunnel's two sections after 50 years freeze-thaw cycle. Then a comparative analysis was made on the results of the ANSYS software method, the elasticity method and on-spot test. It showed that Alatan tunnel structure stress is apt to be stable, which can satisfy the requirement of the structure after the later operation of the tunnel. |
