The basic function of Tactical Data Information Link(TDIL) is to guarantee that Intelligence information can be exchanged in real time and shared among combat units,battlefields situation is under continuous real-time surveillance, so the ability of cooperation each other and the effect of joint operations are effectively improved.The multi-link simulation of TDIL directly influences the evaluation of the TDIL's application performance. TDIL is representative application of data communications in military affairs. TDIL adopts communication network technology to achieve new type data exchange among air platform, army and navy. So the kernel of data link system is to research network protocol.The main characteristic of the Data Link is that the information transmits and exchanges in the stipulated form, in encryption and in real-time automatically. Thus the information resource sharing is realized, and the mutual coordination ability and the whole transmission potency are maximized.In order to urge the transverse concurrently network design of tactical data link net work, this paper analyzes the characteristics and the topological structure of tactical data link network and puts forward a kind of tactical data link network architecture. The network architecture has a two dimentional structure. Through cross level design, it has the strong adaptability. The feasibility and validity of the architecture is testified by analyzing the flow of data in link 16.In view of the special characteristics of the Data Link network, the capacities, the advantages and disadvantages of the commonly used multiple access methods are analyzed to propose the multiple access and allocation methods suitable for the Data Link used in the tactical communication. A dynamic TDMA time slot assignment strategy.Finally the network topology is established in OPNET, a MAC model of TDIL was designed in the thesis, with the relatively standardized level node model to complete the flow-based simulation so that the performance index could be obtained and the accuracy, the validity and the fault tolerance of the protocol could be comprehensively verified. According to the simulation results, the data link protocol proposed in the paper has implemented the basic features of the data transmission and reached satisfy effect in the simulation scenes.
