The advantage of bored pile is simple construction, small impact on environment, large bearing capacity and so on. It is the main foundation of high-rise buildings and bridges. For example, the foundation of bridge on Jing—Jin dedicated passenger line's traffic is mostly made up of bored piles and the bridges length is longer than 80% of the line.Because of the complexity, uncertainty and regionality of rock and soil surrounding pile, now there is no accurate method to calculate bearing capacity of single pile. Research on pile foundation today is active, but in general, the theory is behind the practice. So research on bearing and deformation characteristics is of great significance.This thesis is based on the Static Load Testing of foundation pile on Jing—Jin dedicated passenger line's traffic test section DK93+650. It researches on load transfer characteristics of single pile under vertical loading and analyze the main factors of side friction resistance of pile.In the existing calculation methods of single pile 's settlement, Load transfer function method has clear concept, simple calculation, great practicability. Therefore, it is most widely used. Researchers have made a variety of load transfer functions. SatouTakesi method whose transfer function isτ~δand constitutive models is elastic perfectly-plastic behavior can be used to analyze different types of pile and load transfer of homogeneous soil and non homogeneous soil. But there is still some mistakes in the derivation of formula, for example, pile and siol's relative displacement and pile's compression settlement is confused. On the basis of existing theoretical research, this thesis modifies SatouTakesi method, considers sediment and depth effect of side friction resistance and makes reasonable calculation method of load-settlement of pile foundation. At last, Using an example validate the analytical solution suggested by this thesis.In addition, mud skin of bored pile characters have an impact on bearing capacity for common long/ ultra-long bored piles. Grouting on the side of pile is an effective way to increase side friction resistance and reduce the impact of mud skin of bored pile. Therefore, this thesis researches the mud skin of bored pile and grouting 's impact on bearing and deformation characteristics.
