With the acceleration of infrastructure development and the implementation of the strategy of the western countries' large-scale development , there will be an increasing number of rail, road and mining projects in construction in the mountains. The number of tunnels in sloping will continue to increase, it can be predicted, such a complex geotechnical problems in slope area due to the deformation of the tunnel caused by slope deformation and damage will inevitably have emerged largely. Surveys reveal that various damages often occur to many tunnels which are constructed in slope, the damages intimately correct with slope activities in the sloping ground, and some damages have influenced the normal operations of tunnels. In the paper, it researches the course of the mutual impetus and the interact between slope and tunnel that it is based on various damages which occer in the slope adverse geological body and tunnel at the entrance of the Second YaoTou tunnel in MengXin express highway of YunNan province.Based on the investigation and research on predecessor, the structure and cause of landsilde,relative position between tunnel and sliding plane and the corresonding deformation features of tunnel are studied;The view that relative position between tunnel and sliding plane is the major cause to determine mode of interact between slope and tunnel is put forward; Secondly it analysed that the causes of landsilde and ground subsidence caused by tunnel excavation and operation;Then the mechanical patterns of tunnels situated different place in landslide are analysed, and four typical mechanical mechanics models to analyse interrelation between landslide and tunnel deformation are given;Lastly it analysed that the force and deformation mechanism of interaction between the tunnel and slope in the shallow section.According to various damages which occer in the slope adverse geological body and tunnel at the entrance of the Second YaoTou tunnel in MengXin express highway of YunNan province, through field inspection and Analysis of engineering geology,it discussed that diseases of the reasons and interaction mechanism of slope and tunnel.Finally,it simulated situation of the slope adverse geological body and tunnel in natural state and heavy rain state by FLAC programme, further illustrated that interaction mechanism of slope and tunnel.
