In the development of improving switching frequency, reducing volume of power electronic devices and increasing power density trend, LLC resonant converter is becoming a focus of research. LLC is a topological structure of the ideal resonant converter topology, which can achieve ZVS for primary switchs, ZCS for the rectifier diodes, easy integration of resonant inductor and transformer, and wide range operation. Synchronous rectification technology as the emerging research field of DC/DC converter can greatly reduce the loss and effectively increase the efficiency of the converter.This paper introduces the classificationt of resonant converter, the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional converter, and the present research on Synchronous rectification.
