| Wind power generation is clean renewable energy resources,there are huge reserves and practical value in use. Compared to 370 GW hydroelectric resource in China, the wind power resource is up to 250 GW. It is not only the need of market to open up the wind energy exploitation, but also development of wind power generation industry itself. Under this background and supported by national fund project -"research of offshore wind turbine installation and maintenance multi-functional workboat", also based in the recent research of wind turbine installation vessels all around the world, the thesis have done some analysis and research on conception design, stability, resistance prediction and service speed design, the spud leg under stress and stability analysis in work condition of the vessel:1. Demonstration on the designThe paper finished the conceptual design for a wind turbine installation vessel including determination and optimization for principal characteristics of the main hull, design and fairing of molded lines, general arrangement design and calculation of ship weight and center of gravity using the domestic and overseas successful examples as reference.2. Analysis on stabilitySecondly, With statics method, this paper presents some research work on the intact stability characteristics dividing it into transverse stability and longitudinal one. Two aspects should be taken into account in choosing the appropriate initial metacnetric height of the vessel, which consists of satisfying the concerned stability codes and avoiding the severe rolling. Solution to the calculation of righting lever at large heel angels is presented. The calculation is conducted with the software Hydromax . 3. Resistance prediction and service speed designBy using Hullspeed module of Maxsurf software, with displacement and Slender body method, this paper carries out resistance calculation and finds out that during the process, Holtrop method more effectively predicts the rules of variation of resistance, approaches to the practical situation of projects.4. Work condition analysisWhen operating offshore projects, the vessel will encounter combined action of wind, wave and flow, the paper selects the most dangerous work condition, calculates the stress on spud leg. Also, emphasizing the effects on stability when the main crane suspends cargo at different angles. In conclusion, the paper put forward a beneficial work condition for crane considering stability. |
